The Honest 2026 Price List
We put our real guide prices on the integral blinds prices page, so here they are explained in plain English. Every figure below is supplied and fitted, includes measuring, manufacture and VAT, and prices are from the lower figure shown:
- Standard window unit: £250 - £550 per pane. Small casement panes start lower, at around £170 - £200.
- 1m single glazed door: £880 - £1,160 for a complete back or side door unit.
- 1.8m French doors: £1,840 - £2,320 covering both glass panels.
- 2-panel sliding patio doors: £2,720 - £3,250 depending on width and slide mechanics.
- 3-panel bi-fold or sliding doors: £3,840 - £4,640 - the most popular option for modern extensions.
- 4-panel bi-fold or sliding doors: £4,080 - £5,120 for expansive glass layouts.
These are guides only. Every unit is made to measure, so the final cost varies with the exact size of each pane, the control type you choose, the glass specification and access. You always get a fixed written price after a free 15-minute survey, and that is the price you pay.
What Moves Your Price Up or Down
- Pane size and shape. Price tracks glass area. A small casement pane sits at the bottom of the range; oversized or shaped panes sit above it.
- Control type. The guide prices assume the standard cordless magnetic slider. A motorised remote-control unit adds to the price per panel, and a solar-powered fully wire-free unit adds a little more. We quote both side by side so you can compare.
- Glass specification. Toughened safety glass is standard in doors and low panes. Acoustic or solar-control glass changes the unit price.
- Access. Ground-floor panes are straightforward; upper floors and awkward extensions take longer.
Retrofitting Beats Replacing Every Time
The single biggest cost saving with integral blinds is that your frames usually stay exactly where they are. We remove the existing sealed units and slide new made-to-measure units with the blind sealed inside into the same frames. That means no scaffolding, no redecorating, no skip full of frames - just the glass changes.
Compare that with a full window replacement, where you are paying for new frames, trims, finishing and all the disruption that comes with them. If your frames are sound, retrofitting integral blinds into them is dramatically cheaper than starting again. If your frames are already tired, we will tell you that honestly at survey - see our full integral blinds guide for how the retrofit works.
Combining With a Misty Unit Replacement
Here is a trick that saves real money: if you already have a failed or misty sealed unit that needs replacing anyway, upgrading that unit to one with a blind sealed inside adds far less than doing the two jobs separately. Tell us at the survey and we will price both options.
Supply-Only If You Prefer to Fit It Yourself
If you are a competent DIYer, a tradesperson or a window fitter, we can supply made-to-measure integral blind units without fitting. Supply-only prices are lower than the fitted guide prices above. Call or WhatsApp us on 01268 962566 with your sizes for a supply-only figure.
How the Survey Works
- You send rough sizes or book a visit - the quote page takes two minutes.
- We survey: glazing depth, pane sizes, control positions and colours, all confirmed in about 15 minutes.
- You get a fixed written price. No pressure, no hard sell.
- Units are made to measure and fitted, typically in 30-45 minutes per panel.
Are Integral Blinds Worth the Money?
For doors - especially bi-folds and patio sliders - most customers tell us yes, without hesitation. Conventional blinds on doors flap, snag and rattle; blinds sealed in the glass never do. For kitchens and bathrooms the "nothing to clean" argument wins. For bedrooms, weigh the cost against what you actually need: integral Venetians tilt and stack but are not a total blackout, so if blackout matters, ask us about the alternatives and we will tell you straight.
The mechanism is sealed away from dust and handling, so quality systems last decades and the units carry the same kind of 25-year sealed-unit guarantee as standard double glazing.
