Common questions
How does the price compare to a fitted job?+
Supply-only is glass and manufacture only - you'll save on labour and site-survey time. If you'd prefer us to fit the units for you, ask when we reply and we'll quote you a fitted price too.
How do I measure the glass?+
Measure the visible pane only (width x height). We add 10mm all round when we cut the unit so it sits correctly in your frame. If you're unsure, add a note - we're happy to talk you through it.
What lead time should I expect?+
Most standard sealed units are ready to collect from Basildon in 3-5 working days. Toughened, obscure or Georgian-bar units may take a little longer - we'll confirm when you order.
Do you offer a guarantee on supply-only units?+
Our 25-year sealed-unit guarantee applies to units we supply and fit ourselves. Supply-only glass is not covered by the 25-year guarantee, as we cannot control how or where it is installed. If you would like the guarantee, ask us to quote for fitting.
Can I upgrade to a fitted service later?+
Absolutely. Many customers order supply-only, then decide fitting is easier - just ask when you reply and we'll add fitting to your quote.
