The price covers a new sealed unit with the aperture cut at the factory plus the flap itself. Cutting an existing pane is not possible on toughened or sealed glass, which is why the unit is replaced.

Secondary glazing is priced per opening and depends on the frame width and whether you want a fixed, hinged or sliding panel. It is usually the only realistic option in listed or conservation-area properties.
